Post-launch content and a Season Pass for Marvel's Midnight Suns will make Deadpool, Venom, Morbius, and Storm playable characters.
The DLC packs, which are each centred around a different character and contain new story missions, an upgrade for the core area The Abbey, as well as new skins and clothing, are being published at an unspecified time, according to publisher 2K.
First up is Deadpool, and 2K has already made hints that the foul-mouthed mercenary occasionally breaks the fourth wall. The next character is Venom, who, although serving as one of the main game's bosses, gives up being a villain to become a new playable hero.
The third DLC character is Morbius, one of the original Midnight Suns from Marvel comics, while the fourth and final character is Storm from the X-Men.
The Season Pass gives immediate access to the Legendary Premium Pack, which contains 23 skins, including the Blade's Blade 1602 skin, Captain America's Future Soldier skin, Iron Man's Iron Knight skin, and Spider-Demon Man's Spider skin. This pack is available as part of the Legendary Edition or as a standalone purchase.
Originally scheduled for release on October 7, Marvel's Midnight Suns will now be available on December 2 as a result of a delay by 2K. In XCOM-style tactical RPG gameplay with characters like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Doctor Strange, and more, the player assumes control of the Midnight Suns.
